In Greece the quantity of the fresh fruit is 20 percent lower than a normal crop year and the weather for the upcoming weeks is uncertain.
In Spain the outlook is even less positive, forecasting 30% less fresh fruit than in a normal crop year. Except for a % black spots from hail, the quality of the finished product seems overall ok. Luckily the crop volume is better than last year , although the price for raw material is more expensive than last year. Higher demand from fresh (Italian)Market puts pressure on prices. Farmers want to sell their good quality Bulida only at expensive prices.
In Maroc the crops seems more or less ok.
